Welcome MollaKorea.com to the Neighborhood

Not long after launching the South of Seoul blog I was approached by www.MollaKorea.com who asked if I could develop Pyeongtaek content for them. After learning more about the website I became enamored with its possibilities.  Three months later, here we are. Multiple sections dedicated to Pyeongtaek content.

Each week I will update new listings to help make life in Pyeongtaek a lot more fun and delicious.  You can follow MollaKorea.comhttp://www.mollakorea.com/ on Facebook as well. They post lots of different events and activities across Korea.

MollaKorea.com will change how we live in Pyeongtaek. Content includes such things as:
  • Restaurants
  • Hiking trails
  • Adventure sports
  • Hotels and pensions
  • Beauty treatments
  • Healthcare
  • Dentists
  • Events
  • Flea Market
  • Forums

This is not a set-it-and-forget-it website. It's designed to last, with staff and systems to support the continued development of content. If maps are wrong they will fix them, if restaurants go out of business they remove them, if something new comes to town they go check it out.

Not only that, it's also a bit like yelp. You can review places you visit, things you eat, restaurants you love and much more. Members of the site also get rewards and perks for participating which honestly just gives me a good fuzzy feeling so I dig it.

In addition, the people running MollaKorea.com have years of experience in Korea and speak the language so they can find things you can't, try them out, and recommend them to you. This isn't the blind-leading-the-blind. This is a group of experts, both national and foreign, on life outside of Seoul doing all the hard research so your short time here can be has enjoyable as possible.

It's been truly exciting to work on a project that will make life so much easier for so many people. It's certainly a new dawn and a new day in Pyeongtaek.
