UPDATE: Now always open, have added fish and shrimp tacos

I'm caught in a moral dilemma.

Recommending these tacos is like recommending your favorite new show that is most likely going to be cancelled after the first season,

and is swapping time-slots each week.

Do you really want to tell someone to get addicted to something they may never be able to find, and if they do, it might just vanish?

On one hand, 

these are possibly the best Baja style tacos in Korea 

and you need to put as many in your mouth as possible.

On the other hand,

 you never know if the shop will be open,

or if they will even have food.

This shop is just a hobby for a businessman from California who loves beer and tacos. 

He doesn't have any motivation to be open if he doesn't want to be open, 

which part of me respects and part of me resents because:

I WANT A DAMN TACO!

Two tacos is enough, but I want to eat six.

Seriously, man, don't mess with a girls tacos.

We are sensitive and fragile, 

our little taco shell hearts are easily crushed 

when you aren't open when you said you would be open.

Pretty soon we stop coming around for tacos,

not because we don't want them everyday,

but because we can't handle the rejection.

*deep breath, wipes away a tear *

Please, don't let this just be a summer fling.

Please let this be real.

Stop being a taco tease and make a commitment.

Pork Taco

Look for Sponge Bob and 3 wheeled machines parked out front.

AK Basement Food Court

To Eat:  AK Plaza basement

Although I'm not a fan of fast food,

I am a fan of food on little plates going in circles.

So when I am in a hurry near AK PLAZA

I go down, down, down into the belly of the beast

and eat some sushi off the beltway.

In addition to sushi on rails,

you can find a variety of other options

including Krispy Kreme.

On a side note:

The also have an excellent high-end health supplement section.

I will let you decided if I am talking about the picture above or below.

Swoyambhu Restaurant

To Eat: Swoyambhu Restaurant

Romance is warm colors,

strong flavors,

and shared memories.

Today we celebrated these memories of college

and last Christmas when we ran away to India

with the tastes make it all real again.

To Eat: Sashimi

Holy 음식 Batman!

This is our idea of heaven.

When we have a bit more money to spend

and want eat too much sushi, we go here.
Although it's more expensive than something things,
it blows our mind how much we get for our money.

This is for serious sashimi lovers only.

It's also only for groups,

although we eat 4 servings between 2 people.

Either way, prepare to eat until you want to die.

Le Miel

To Eat: Le Miel

As downtown Pyeongtaek slowly dwindles,

other areas like 동삭동 are starting to take off.

Sometimes we don't go near AK Plaza for months.

A new reason to try the new neighborhoods

is this love Italian restaurant called Le Miel.

This is where you want to go 

for blue cheese pasta or real carbonara 

which shine more than the seafood tomato pasta.

It's also one of our favorite new date nights

since the restaurant sits right on the river walk.

After dinner we can go and take a lazy stroll

and tell each other stories.

Far more relaxing than the hustle and bustle downtown.
